Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Newburgh Heights is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. I don’t write reviews often, but this place absolutely deserves it. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn’t just another coffee shop—it’s part of the community. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can settle in for a few minutes or a few hours and feel completely at home. The coffee is consistently excellent—rich, smooth, and clearly made with care, winter, spring, summer and fall! Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup on the go or trying something new off the menu, you can taste the quality. And the owners? Genuinely some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They remember faces, take the time to chat, and make every visit feel personal. What really stands out is how much heart goes into this place. Supporting a locally owned business like this feels good, especially when they put so much back into the customer experience. If you’re anywhere nearby and haven’t stopped in yet, you’re missing out. This is the kind of spot that turns first-time visitors into regulars.

Oh my gosh!!! This cafe is awesome…..so many delicious food choices PLUS vegan, gluten free and Keto! Lots of sugar free options for coffee drinks too. The vegan banana bread was crazy yummy and my lavender latte was perfect. And….. Brittany and Craig were so welcoming and warm. This cafe has a definite small town, community vibe that has become our favorite, daily place to hang out for a bit.

First time here and I LOVED IT! Every where you looked in this little shop, there was a little detail filled with love and thoughtfulness. You can tell the owners really care about humans. Tucked away in a little neighborhood, you’ll find this little shop. It’s street parking, but it’s a quiet area so it wasn’t difficult to find a spot. The owners (i assume) were so friendly and chatty. There were tables inside to dine but there was also a little public picnic area outside too! There were so many options from breakfast sandwiches, to bakery items, and even vegan meat options ! And everything was baked there fresh! I had the cinnamon roll, which they heated up for me. Yum yum yum! And my husband and I each for a breakfast sandwich. Simple, but great. Especially on that sourdough bread ! I got a vanilla latte which was good. And my husband got a double espresso which was good too. I would definitely recommend this place and 100% would come back !!
